Dave Butler is a drummer, percussionist, keyboardist, and producer based in the Hopewell Borough where he works out of the Butler's Quarters Studio. He has spent the last 10 years touring around the world with the alternative rock band Guster and before that, other acts such as Lee "Scratch" Perry, Marco Benevento, Tom Hamilton, and Todd Sheaffer. Growing up in Virginia, music has been part of his life since he first sat down at a piano at the age of seven. After college and a stint at NYC's The Collective School of Music, Dave settled in Brooklyn in 2004, and then again Hopewell in 2019. He is always studying and searching for new forms of expression with the constant hope of expanding his musical horizons. See www.david-butler.com for more on Dave and his work.
Dave will be bringing in his favorite musicians from New York, Philly and Central Jersey for this Monday night residency at Ottoburger and you can expect an eclectic night of feel good music with a few surprise special guests thrown in. His hope is to create a night every month where folks can bring their families, meet up with friends and hang with the Hopewell community to enjoy some special music and eat great farm-to-table food.
